Chapter 7
The four of us along with several of his crew members move back to the warf. The Black Beth was a massive floating city. The large ship was composed of two small ships. Two of these ships made for the defense of the great ship. Karkinos' flag flapped in the wind. We moved through the front of the ship into the towers that lay behind it. These were home to Karkinos and his women. If Karkinos wasn't raiding port villages, he was raid the women that lived here. He mostly got these girls from slavers in the sea. Slavers like scorpio. Like I said before that son of a bitch deserved what came to him.
We passed these girls scarred and broken. As we passed I felt a hand grip mine. I look back to see Aquana. Her face was absent of her usual glow and had only a grim glower across it. She had been where these girls were before. Scorpio deserved all that came to him. We began to move up stairs before Karkinos spoke. "I see the ex-virgin is still with you."
Aquana's grip tightens. I reply, "Yeah."
"I remember when I was promised that girl by Scorpio."
"Promised like an object?"
"Exactly!" I clench my teeth and snarl lowly at him. "Careful Lion don't want him to come out especially in my domain."
I pull back and then begin to walk off.
I move through the Black Beth. I looked as his crew laughed and drank. I move only to be occompanied by a small black cat that must have stoyed away. I moved through the small twists and curves. The cat ever present in some way. I kept moving. I then looked back to see the cat had disappeared. I turn back to find it now infront of me. "Sneaky cat," I say.
"I know," I hear a female voice say.
"Cassandra what are you doing on this ship?"
"I could ask you the same thing," she asks.
"I feel stupid talking to a bodiless voice where are you."
"Look down," I look down to only see the cat.
"What you telling me you're the cat?"
"Why that's exactly what I am telling you and now that there is no need for the sneaking around. I can get into a more comfortable look." The cat soon turns to roughly her size before gaining her human look. She wore a large hat that still had her black cat ears showing. A large jacket covered her upper body and a thin dress covered her lower portions. "Ha I hate when I do that."
"Then why do you do it?"
"When my brother asks me to help him I'm happy to do it."
"You have family?"
"Doesn't every one? Well he's not my actual brother like you and the crab. I'm adopted. He and his group took me in and raised me."
"That's kind of like me and the military."
"Huh so you know something about me can I know something about you?"
"Where's the fun in that?"
"That's kind of unfair," she says with a kind of angry puff. "How about we make a deal. I tell you another thing about me and you tell me one thing about you. Two for one deal sound good to you. I'm like you and your friends I'm a Zodiac."
"A zodiac? That means you are apart of the-"
"Yeah I'm a chinese zodiac. Third rencarnation tiger," she says showing her cleavage the tiger character above her left breast. "Your turn."
"Well if you must know something I am exiled from my home because I'm a murderer. But wait if you are a tiger incarnation why were you only a cat."
"Secrets," she says.
"Talk about unfair," I say smirking.
"I said two for one and I need to keep somethings to myself," Cassandra says laughing.
"I can understand every one has thier secrets."
"Everyone has thier secrets," she repeat.
Boom!
"What the hell was that," I yell. "Cassandra we need to..." I turn back to see she was gone. "Sneaky cat," I smile.
I then turn my attention to the loud crashing noise. I move to Karknios' quarters. I move through the large brothel that was now abandoned. I move through the doors quickly. "Larkin what did you do?"
"Nothing you believe I would come here ask for your help and attack you."
"After that night I believe you do any thing," Karkinos growls.
"Well I didn't. I was just as surprised as you."
"Guys come over here," Tearus says standing on the balcony.
"What?"
We move to the balcony to see the crew locked in combat with a large group of boar skinned savages pouring in from a boar shaped ship deep in the haul of the ship. "The boar Erymanthus my only rival on the sea."
"Boar?"
"Yeah he's a reincarntion of the chinese boar."
"We have a chance to take him I say we join and attack."
"No these men are trained to deal with situations like this," Karkinos yells.
"They'll need our help for those," Tearus says pointing to the two knights that emerged from the boar. "Especially if they are anything like thier friend."
"What friend," I ask.
"The one I killed back in the gardens."
"How can you tell," Aquana asks.
"They have the same scent," he says pointing to his nose.
"So with them around that thing that attacked us isn't far behind," I say creating a fire ball in my hand. "Tearus let's go."
"Wait-" We're already in the fray. I run through the combative revel. The boar like enemies were as buffoons to me. I quickly came on the green of the two knights. He swung a large axe above his head that acted as a great pundulum to his enemies. I jumped at him as he finish another pirate. I swung the axe around. I quickly vaulted over the swing and then sent a thrust towards him. As it neared him, it was stopped by the broad side of his axes.  He then twists the blade and swings towards my head. I avoid the strike. The stab at his elbow. It is ineffective.
I moved quickly moved to his side. I fired of a single fire ball. He takes the strike directly in the chest. He smiles then moves quickly swinging his axe at my head. I quickly reach down and grab a body that had already been cut down. His axe digs deep into the corpse. I then take the chance and stab at him in the side. Still the attack is ineffective. "What is that armor of knight," I growl.
"I was born from the hardest of emerald."
"Emerald huh," a voice calls out. "We will test that." Then from his back four arrows fall to the ground broken. I look behind him to see Tearus with bow in hand. He draws another arrow. He then lets it from his grip and into the crowd. The arrows as it nears the emerald knight is then caught by a fourth party member.
The second knight arrives to intervine. Then from the skies comes more arrows. He easily side steps the attacks. Tearus becoming agitated with the futile attacks moved to the deck that we had been standing on. On equal terms as level wise he takes to his more favored for. There is a flash of golden light and he comes angry and bull headed.
"A beast," the white knight says. He draws from his sheathe a glistening, straight blade. "that deserves to be put down," he finishes.
tearus roars. The bull then grabs the white knight and runs through the revel with him. As the emerald knight was distarcted, I attacked. I came down hard on his shoulder. He audibly chuckles. He grabs me and slams me to the ground. I quickly spin to create a funnel of fire to stop the on coming attack. As the funnel occured, I moved from it and fired several orbs of flame through the flames. As the fire disipated there was no sign of him. I then looked up to find him coming down quickly like an emeral comet. I opened my mouth and sent a crash through the air. as the attack hits him, he fallsto groundin a great crash. He stands rattleing. I fire an orb. He is takes this head on and is unaffected by it. This was strange. Crash had taken a great effect on the knight but m fire was nothing. What was the difference. Heat? Force? Waves? Yes this was it.
My fire has no waves. The sound waves must have vibrated his armor. As I realize this, he attacks. I avoid the strike and then send a sound wave into his face. He moves back and  rattleing even more. He raises his axe and comes towards me. As he nears I ready for him. He gets closter and closer until he is pinned to the ground.
"Tearus," I say.
"Tremora Buster." A greater wave sends vibration through the air. I had become occustom to it over the years so I was immune but for all others. They were all falling apart. The vibration acted greatly on thier body. The knight screamed until the rattling became a crackng noise. Then into the air came the shattered pieces of emerald armor.
